By downloading, installing, or using Balance Horizon (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Balance Horizon is a calendar-centric budgeting application for iOS. The App allows you to track income and expenses, manage budgets, set up recurring transactions, and view spending trends. The App is designed to operate offline, storing all data locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. Optional features include Apple Wallet transaction import (via FinanceKit) and iCloud sync (premium feature).
Balance Horizon does not require you to create an account, provide personal information, or sign in. All app data is stored locally on your device. There are no usernames, passwords, or profiles associated with your use of the App.
Balance Horizon offers optional premium features available through in-app purchases:
Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Subscription prices may change from time to time. You will be notified of any price changes through the App Store before they take effect.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policies. Ellasid does not process payments or issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
All financial data, transactions, categories, notes, and other content you create within the App (“User Content”) belongs entirely to you. Ellasid does not access, collect, or claim any rights to your User Content. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and management of your data.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, user interface, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Ellasid and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not:
Balance Horizon is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Balance Horizon is not a financial advisor. The App is a personal budgeting tool and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any financial decisions you make based on information in the App are your sole responsibility. You should consult a qualified financial professional for financial advice.
Ellasid does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ellasid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
In no event shall Ellasid’s total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the App exceed the amount you paid to Ellasid in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50.00), whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ellasid and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Ellasid reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. Active subscriptions will be honored for the remainder of their current billing period in the event of discontinuation.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Delaware.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ellasid regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
Ellasid reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
