“The app isn’t scanning my papers correctly”

“I bought Answered Pro but don’t have access”

“I want a refund”

Refunds for in-app purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple typically decides within 48 hours.

If Apple denies the refund and you believe the app didn’t work as described, email us at support@ellasid.com and we’ll help resolve it.

“I want to delete my data”

Email support@ellasid.com from any address, say you want your data deleted, and we’ll remove everything associated with your account within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for details.

“I bought the Mail Filing Service – what happens now?”

We prepare and deposit your packet with USPS, by Certified Mail with Return Receipt Requested, within 2-5 business days of your payment. When we mail it, we email you the USPS tracking numbers for both the court copy and the plaintiff copy – usually the same day, at the latest the next business day.

Expected timeline end-to-end: payment -> mail -> delivery is typically 4 to 8 business days. USPS controls the delivery leg and does not guarantee delivery dates.

“I need to change my address, signature, or Answer after paying”

Email support@ellasid.com as soon as possible and tell us your order ID (it starts with A- and is shown on your order confirmation). If we have not yet printed your packet, we can edit or cancel it. Once it’s printed, we can’t change it, but we can cancel and issue a refund in limited cases – see the refund policy below.

“Where are my tracking numbers?”

We email them within 1 business day of mailing your packet. If it’s been more than 5 business days since you paid and you haven’t received tracking numbers, email us.

“Can I cancel my Mail Filing Service order?”

Yes, if we haven’t printed it yet. Email us as soon as possible with your order ID. If we’ve already printed the packet, we cannot cancel the mailing, but you may qualify for a refund – see below.

“I want a refund on the Mail Filing Service”

We will refund the full $39.99 fee if:

To request a refund, email support@ellasid.com with your order ID. Refunds go back through Apple’s refund process.

We do not refund the Mail Filing Service on the basis of the legal merits of your Answer, the outcome of your case, or your second thoughts about what your Answer said.

“USPS says my packet wasn’t delivered”

Email us with your order ID. We will look up the tracking details, investigate, and let you know whether we can re-mail, refund, or escalate with USPS. We cannot guarantee what USPS does, but we will work with you promptly.
